50 Cent Announces He’s Quitting ‘Power,’ Tells Golden Globes to “Suck a D!%&”

50 Cent must have been feeling some type a way about his Starz hit show Power not being nominated in the 2017 Golden Globe awards this week. The multi-platinum rapper took to Instagram to voice his disapproval, saying that Floyd Mayweather will be replacing him as the menacing character Kanan.

“I accept my series POWER was not intended to be a signature show for the network but it is the highest rated show. I know my audience very well, I’m done promoting this out side of contractual obligations,” 50 wrote. “SEASON 4 KANAN MUST DIE, I got other shit to do.”

With more than 3.37 million viewers tuning in for the season three premiere, Power became the most-watched episode in network history.

Shortly after, Fiddy posted another photo of Floyd Mayweather, insinuating that the champ would be taking his place, writing, “I’m off the POWER train, champ is gonna do the show. Go to him for more info, I gotta do something different.”
