50 Cent Clowns Joe Budden for Near Altercation with Migos

Leave it up to 50 Cent to add fuel to a fire of rappers beefing. Just recently the Queens, NY mogul added his two cents to the almost-altercation between Joe Budden and the Migos during an interview at the 2017 BET Awards.

In a since-deleted Instagram post, Fiddy put a picture of his 50 Cent Is the Future cover, featuring himself, Lloyd Banks pointing a gun at the camera and Tony Yayo, over a still image of the Migos just before they were about to tear Budden a new one.

He captioned the post, saying: “Was this a 50 Cent moment? Was Joe about to get popped on? Let me see, yeah the young boys was getting ready to get on ya head Joe. Talking bout you got a hot 16 LOL.”

#50cent speaks. (Btw tell 50 we need him on #everydaystruggle for a episode)

The situation to which 50 is referring is when the Atlanta trio was being interviewed by Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks at the BET Awards on Sunday (June 25) from Complex’s ‘Everyday Struggle’ webseries.

The tension kicked off when DJ Akademiks asked group member Takeoff about his absence on the smash song, adding, “I feel like that’s a running joke … with you being left off ‘Bad and Boujee.”

In a crowded environment, the two could hardly hear each other as Takeoff responded, saying, “I ain’t left off ‘Bad and Boujee.’ You think I left off ‘Bad and Boujee.”

Joe Budden then announced it was time to wrap up the interview just as Akademiks was saying the Migos were one of his favorite groups. While it wasn’t clear if Joe Budden was mad at his partner for commenting the trio or if he just wasn’t feeling the whole conversation, the Culture MCs sure weren’t feeling the perceived diss as Joe dropped the mic and walked off camera. Check out the tension unfold below.
