50 Cent Reveals ‘Power’ Ending After Season 7, Promises to Double Success with ‘BMF’

Sunday can’t come soon enough for Power fans waiting to see Ghost’s fate behind bars. The coming of new season just may be bitter/sweet, however, as 50 Cent recently announced that he will be ending the show after seven seasons.

“I was telling [executives] in the very beginning, when they talked about how long do you think the series is going to last, I said seven,” 50, real name Curtis Jackson, told ABC News. “It’s going to go seven.”

Although the sudden announcement of the show’s end will have fans temporarily upset, they will be happy to find out that after season four, which begins Sunday (June 25) there will still be three more seasons to follow.

In the meantime, the rapper-turned-actor promises to top the success of Power. Earlier this week, he took to Instagram to with a message about his long-awaited Black Mafia Family TV series.

“I set the bar with POWER, I will raise it with BMF,” Fiddy captioned next to a picture of himself in a tuxedo. “They can’t stop it or Top it, check the numbers. Tune in Sunday !! #nextlevel.”

Althought Fif has been scoring big in Hollywood, Birdman feels as if the Queens MC may have been slacking in his music. Earlier this month, Baby expressed his confidence that he can guarantee 50 platinum sales on his next album if allowed to executive produce the project.

In a since-deleted Instagram post, the Cash Money Records CEO captioned a photo of the 50’s 2003 Get Rich or Die Tryin’ album cover with his interest in executive producing his new project. Under the post, he captioned: “Told @50cent I wanna executive produce his next album 🔥it’s guaranteed platinum plus #getrixhordietryin .P2 let’s getit.”
