50 Cent Threatens to Take ‘Power’ to Another Network for Mistreatment

“Power” is one of cable television’s most-watch dramas and Starz’ highest-rated show. But it seems like the show’s executive producer , 50 Cent, is not too please with how Starz is treating the hit show. After this week’s nail-biting episode that resulted in two character deaths, the “In Da Club” rapper, is lashing out at the network for their inadequate treating of his show on their network.

On Monday (July 31), 50 Cent took to his Instagram to express his frustrations and threatens to pull the show from the network believing that the show “doesn’t mean anything” to them.

“I woke up feeling a little different about POWER this morning,” 50 writes in the caption. “If the biggest show on your net work doesn’t mean anything, what does your network mean STARZ? I’m taking my talents to south beach fuck this.”

This Instagram rant comes after Courtney Kemp, one of the show’s writers, told US Weekly that Sunday night’s episode was supposed to be aired as a two-part episode but was forced to pack both episodes into one hour-long episode because the network did not green light 12 total episodes.

This is not the first time 50 cent had threatened to leave the network. He previously threatened to leave after his genitals were aired during an episode that he claims he was not warned about beforehand.

Many fans are holding their breathe awaiting the fate of the characters on the screen but also the fate of their favorite show on the Starz network.
