50 Cent was recently granted $14.5 million from his lawyers, who reached a settlement with the artist to avoid trial, TMZ reports.
Fiddy was reportedly suing his lawyers for malpractice, claiming they did a poor job representing him against Sleek Audio. The G-Unit HNIC lost the court battle with Sleek Audio, resulting in him having to pay the company $16 million. Opting not to go to trial, the lawyers agreed to a deal with the rapper. So now, he won’t have to cough up all the dough on his own.
According to documents filed in that case, 50 still owes $23 million to his creditors, including $17 million to Sleek. So the settlement money will likely belong to Sleek Audio. The bankruptcy judge still needs to sign off on the deal.
