Air Jordan “Black Cat” 6s Release on New Year’s Eve
As the year comes to a close, the time is here for the last release of the Air Jordan 2016 Holiday series. The brand is finishing the year off with the drop of the Air Jordan Black Cat Retro 6s set to release New Year’s Eve.
The name “Black Cat” has become the popular, yet unofficial moniker of the release from the voices of the sneaker community. The name is a childhood nickname for the legend Michael Jordan, inspiring the names of previous designs such as the 2006 and 2007 Air Jordan 4s and 3s and the upcoming 2017 Black Cat 13s.
The all black design features a sporty mix of perforated and smooth leather for the upper and a black rubber bottom with white detailing for the sole.
The design follows the classic retro 6 style and the 3M reflective laces give a glow in the dark effect, amping up the monochrome color scheme.
The Air Jordan retro 6s will be available in all Jordan retailers and online December 31st.
