The artist formerly known as Jay Z has had an event-filled past few days. Besides welcoming a set of twins into the world with his super hot wife Beyoncé, Jigga Man announced that his next album, 4:44, will drop next week on June 30, as a Tidal exclusive, as well as a film of the same name. Additionally, Pitchfork confirmed today (June 19) by a Roc Nation representative that Hov has reintroduced the hyphen to his moniker, as well as an all-caps spelling of JAY-Z.
The hyphen had been a part of his artist name since Jigga’s debut album, Reasonable Doubt, in 1995, until he dropped it with the release of Magna Carta Holy Grail in 2013.
