Arrest Warrant Issued for Chief Keef in Miami

Arrest Warrant Issued for Chief Keef in Miami

Maybe today’s (April 2) arraignment on DUI and weed possession charges in Miami just slipped his mind. But after missing court, a judge issued a warrant for the arrest of Chief Keef for his apparent memory lapse, TMZ reports.

The Chicago rapper was arrested for felony DUI last month after police stopped him in his green Maclaren as well as a vehicle behind him after a man reportedly got out of the passenger seat in Chief’s car and handed off some marijuana.

Sosa failed a sobriety test. And after searching the vehicle, police found more of the sticky icky and a cup of codeine-laced syrup. Along with Keef, four others were charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession.

Arresting officers say he had “bloodshot eyes and dry mouth” during the bust.

The arrest came only a month after the 21-year-old rapper got his California state drivers license because he was sick of “riding dirty.”

And with charges to face in Miami, this is not the first time that Sosa has found himself on the wrong side of the law this year. Back in January, the Chicago native has been arrested for robbery and assault after apparently launching an attack earlier this week on his former music producer, Ramsay Tha Great.

According to published reports, Chief Keef and four others were detained Thursday in connection with a home invasion and robbery that occurred last week, in which Ramsay Tha Great states that he was robbed at gunpoint after several people rushed his home with weapons and snatched valuables.
