Bankroll PJ’s 22-year-old uncle Demandril Jackson was killed in drive-by shooting in southwest Atlanta Tuesday night, CBS’ Atlanta affiliate WGCL reports.
Three total victims were shot around 8 p.m. in the 600 block of Smith Street SW. Jackson (better known as known as Man Man or Lil Money) later died at Grady Memorial Hospital, according to authorities. Police say the suspect was driving a red pickup truck.
Jackson was the manager and uncle of Bankroll PJ, six-year-old nephew of Bankroll Fresh, who was killed in March.
initial investigation revealed that some sort of argument between the victims and the gunman happened prior to the shooting; police say the gunman returned to the scene and opened fire. Officers recovered several casings and weapons at the scene, but no suspect has yet been arrested.
Jackson was also a close acquaintance of Jose Guapo and his XVL crew. Guapo and several others expressed their condolences about Man Man’s killing to social media.
