Beyonce’s sixth album Lemonade was nothing less than legendary and iconic all in itself. She has now released a 600-page, fully detailed coffee table book entitled How To Make Lemonade.
The book shows behind-the scenes videos and photos that display her creativity in a new way. The fashion that Beyonce highlights throughout the Lemonade journey possess political standards of how she views the world and where she comes from.
She shows this throught the styles that she wears in her videos and performances such as on the 2016 Super bowl halftime show where Beyonce was unapologetic standing firm in black panther leather gear singing “Formation” started an up roar of its on. From the Laolu Senbanjo Yoruba body painting featured in “Sorry” to the wardrobe of artfully customized Gucci in “Formation,”each look that Beyonce wore throughout the promoting and creating the album all played an significant part of a message now captured in the book.
The time and effort Beyonce took to prepare and create the Lemonade project was more than just singing on a beat to make album sales. This was an inside look into the deep inner thoughts of who Beyonce has become and what she actually stands for as a woman, mother and wife.
