BJ The Chicago Kid has cuffing season moving with his latest ballad “Roses.” Keeping the bed rocking, BJ The Chicago Kid finds himself caught up in his emotions on this simmering and soulful slow jam as he croons,

“Roses pretty red/she love to keep me going playing with my head/ She wanna go left I wanna go right/ And I don’t know if she really down or just for the hype/ And I be going through her pictures double tapping showing I like/ What the use of having venom baby if you ain’t gonna bite?”

Blessing us with new music for Valentine’s Day, BJ had a blast in 2016 and this year seems even brighter. Fresh off three Grammy nominations for his work on his sophomore album In My Mind and his National Anthem performance at President Barack Obama’s Farewell Address in January, the Chicago singer says this is just a teaser of more to come.

BJ closed out 2016 with his mixtape project The Lost Files: Cuffing Season which included the sultry “Make Love” and the Marvin Gaye inspired “Uncle Marvin.” He also kept the mood cozy on the remix duet to Lalah Hathaway’s remake of Anita Baker’s classic single “Angel” which you can peep below as well.

Take a listen now as BJ keeps the R&B torch blowing strong. And if you need some baby making music tonight, put his Soundcloud on repeat.
