Bobby Shmurda Pleads Guilty To Murder Conspiracy, Will Serve 7 Years

Bobby Shmurda took an L today after pleading guilty to murder conspiracy charges today in a New York court. The “Hot Nigga” rapper will serve seven years in prison and five years of probation. The one-time promising Brooklyn star born Ackquille Pollard was facing charges that included conspiracy to commit murder as well as several weapons and drug charges in connection with his affiliation with the GS9 gang.

Shmurda took the global plea deal along with his co-defendants, Chad “Rowdy Rebel” Marshall and Nicholas McCoy. All three had to agree in order for the plea to be accepted. Forgoing a trial which was scheduled to begin on Monday, the terms included them pleading guilty to 4th-degree conspiracy, which carries a sentence of 1-3 years. Their 2nd-degree criminal weapons possession charge carries a sentence of seven years and the two charges will run concurrently.

As part of the deal, Shmurda and his co-defendants can’t appeal but will receive credit for time served. Bobby has already served close to two years already while awaiting trial, leaving him now with a five year bid.
