After being put on blast on social media earlier this week amid allegations from a transgender woman who claimed that he had sexual relations with her and refused to pay, Bobby Valentino says he’s the victim of extortion, TMZ reports.
According to reports, a video was leaked on Monday morning (July 31) of the infamous singer running and dodging the woman, who claims Valentino had sexual relations with her and refused to pay. Valentino was pants-less, hiding behind his trousers and ducking into the bathroom to finish dressing.
Once Valentino realized the escort was recording him, he took off running, leaving behind his shoes and car keys. According to the escort in the video, in order for him to retrieve his items, he must pay her.
Representatives of the heartthrob R&B singer told the celebrity media outlet that Valentino “vehemently denies the person he hooked up with over the weekend was a prostitute, and says he’s now being extorted after the person filming him realized who he was.”
The rep also said, “Misrepresentation and deception were maliciously used to target Valentino; during the encounter, Valentino was victimized and threatened by acts of extortion which continued after his departure was captured on video.”
The rep also said that Bobby had no idea that that woman was transgender and that the extortion attempt has been reported to law enforcement.
