Boo Johnson’s been sporting Diamond Supply Co., but now the pro skater has a signature sneaker he can call his own with the streetwear brand.
The slip on is the ultimate skateboarding shoe. Its canvas upper comes in three colors—black, navy and tan—all with a washed-out treatment. For the most part, Johnson’s signature is kept simple in the design, though, the tan colorway was upgraded with a hummingbird on the vamp, making it a favorite. The BOO J features the necessary streamlining technology to ease every flip, grind, an ollie in your bag of tricks. The exclusively released kicks are going to be dropped limited locations, fans can cop a pair at stores in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York City or online at 12 p.m. PST.
Although the in store sale is limited, lucky attendees of the Agenda Festival in California have access to the special-edition version of the BOO J. The sneaker will be released at the festival, located in a city crucial to Johnson’s rise in the skateboarding community—Long Beach. Although its debut coincides with Diamond Supply Co.’s release of the original BOO J’s, it will not be available elsewhere for purchase besides at the festival.
