Good news for fans of Bruno Mars and Bronx Baddie, Cardi B. The former announced via social media that he will be releasing a remix to his song “Finesse” from his hit album 24K Magic.
“Finesse” was a fan favorite on Mars’ 2016 multi-platinum selling album. The track is reminiscent of the classic 90’s New Jack Swing era, much like its cover art. Since releasing 24k Magic, Bruno Mars has gone on a world tour, released his first-ever prime time television special Bruno Mars: 24k Magic Live at the Apollo, and has earned six Grammy nominations this year (including one for “Record of the Year”) among winning many other awards.
2017 was definitely a break out year for former Love & Hip Hop: New York cast member, Cardi B. Her single, “Bodak Yellow” made its way to the top of the Billboard 100 charts, making her the first solo female rapper to do so since Lauryn Hill. She currently has her first 3 songs on the Top 10 Billboard Hot 100 at the same time, joining The Beatles and Ashanti, the only acts that have accomplished that thus far. In addition to all of career successes, she also got engaged to Offset from the Migos last year and the two have become rap’s reigning couple. Talk about living the dream!
