Fashion killer Cam’ron is taking on new fashion ventures in footwear. He’s recently curated a collection with Stance Socks and is on his second release with Reebok.
Both collections are pink-themed reminiscent of the color he popularized in the 90s. Still considered a bold choice for menswear, pink is an “it” color for Fall and with Cam’ron blazing trails and reintroducing pink in hip hop; some guys may even opt for shades of pink this season.
The Dipset rapper’s “Camron Camo” release with Stance Socks pays tribute to his East coast hip hop group The Diplomats while showcasing his signature color.
The group’s logo is featured on top of the pink camouflage print above the image of a pink cell phone. The brand released a Cam’ron-inspired collection honoring the rapper last Fall and are very inspired by Cam’s contributions to hip hop and fashion.
“The Fleebok 2” Reebok and Cam’ron collaboration shoe is a sporty pink suede sneaker with camo’ laces, hot pink jelly sole and the word “Dipset” embossed in the back. The infamous pink mink outfit and matching cell phone picture from the 90’s is featured on the insole paying homage to the rapper’s trendsetting style.
High sales are projected for The Fleebok’s seeing Cam’s first Reebok release, “Purple Haze,” sold out within minutes. Cam’ron featured a video on his Instagram last week showing off the design and Reebok has just announced the release date of November 28th.
