Looks like we are finally getting some new music from Chano.

Last night the Chicago emcee and Toronto singer/musician Daniel Caeser performed a new song (currently untitled) on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. With Daniel Caeser on guitar, Chance’s lyrics gave us some insight on how the superstar rapper manages a work-life balance. “I’m a rich excuse for a father, you just came to a toddler / She turning two, she don’t need diapers, she just need her papa/ I really need a break, could really use a nap/ My daughter barely recognize me when I lose the hat,”.

Prior to his performance, Chance sat down with Colbert and discussed his work with Chicago Public Schools and his memorable moment with Colbert at this year’s Emmy Awards. He also revealed that he originally wanted to perform an unreleased track called “Good Ass Kid” but ended up having to write something new a few days before hand. The unreleased track was slated to be on Coloring Book but unfortunately didn’t make the cut. Fans have been waiting to hear new music from Chance the Rapper since he released his 2016 Grammy Award-winning project and this newly performed track has fans eagerly anticipating for more music to come.
