Today we salute and pay respect to one of our fallen (yet risen) soldiers, Chinx formerly known as Chinx Drugz. The Queens bred artist was certainly on his way to becoming a genre defining creative. This previously unreleased record “Personal” is exactly that.
The song is produced by Genius Klub and provides us a heartfelt expression of spirit, that seems to showcase where his thoughts were before his untimely demise. “Personal” will be featured on Genius Klub’s debut compilation Intellektual Property set to drop this summer and will be featuring appearances from Red Cafe, Big Sean, Roscoe Dash, Dave East and more.
The Queens rapper was gunned down on May 7, 2015 while siting in his Porsche. The murder remains unsolved. Chink was making power plays with French Montana and Diddy before his death and was poised to be one of the MCs leading New York’s resurgence.
