Chris Brown Wins Million-Dollar Court Case Against Former Manager

It looks like Chris Brown’s former manager Mike Guirguis won’t be cashing in on those $1.5 million in assets against the R&B singer for allegedly failing to pay commissions owed for personal services.

According to Encino Patch, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Chalfant rejected a motion last week brought by lawyers for Michael Guirguis and his firm, Nitevision Management. The motion called for Brown’s assets in his deposit accounts and his interests in real estate. The motion did not seek the singer’s earnings nor his personal home.

Mike G also alleges that the entertainer defamed him and Nitevision Management with Instagram postings claiming Nitevision was fired because his ex-manager stole money from him.

Guirguis, also known as Mike G, sued Brown last summer for allegedly beating him up last year, just days before Brown was to leave for a European tour.

According to The New York Daily News, their relationship came to an end after Brown allegedly sucker punched the Guirguis and beat him to the point of hospitalization. The lawsuit filed by Guirguis against the R&B singer claims that the four years they worked together, Brown suffered from “addiction, anger control and violence issues.”
