Comedian and actor Ricky Harris died last night at the age of 54 after reportedly suffering a heart attack. The Long Beach, California native had an extensive acting resume that included Everybody Hates Chris with Chris Rock, Bones with Snoop Dogg and Pam Grier, Moesha with Brandy and This Christmas with Chris Brown and Idris Elba.
Ricky Harris was also good friends with Snoop Dogg and voiced some of Snoop’s classic skits off his debut Doggystyle. Some of those characters included “DJ EZ Dicc” and “TaaDow” as well as “Saul-T-Nutz” off Tha Dogg Pound’s album Dogg Food.
Harris also starred in such films as Heat, Dope and had roles in such TV series as CSI: Miami and NYPD Blue.
Check out the late great Ricky Harris as “TaaDow” below in Snoop’s classic “Doggy Dogg World.”
Thanks for the laughs and R.I.P. Also see what some of his homies like Snoop and Cube had to say about Rick’s unfortunate passing.
