Dee-1 has signed a collaborative agreement with global consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.  He will be visiting high school events nationwide, as part of the “Earn Your Future” program, to help students make smart financial decisions about college and their careers. The success of Dee-1’s viral track “Sallie Mae Back,” in early 2016, trail blazed Dee-1 as the face and spokesperson for financial literacy and has been cited as making ‘Being Debt Free is the New American Dream.”  Their goal is to teach financial literacy and help students with their loan debt.

Speaking of the partnership, Dee-1 stated, “When we finally connected, I was like: ‘Wait, you have a desire to educate people about financial literacy, specifically minorities. I have that same desire. Can we do this together?’ We can, and now we’re doing it.”

PricewaterhouseCoopers (trading as PwC) is a multinational professional services network headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It is the second largest professional services firm in the world, and is one of the Big Four auditors, along with Deloitte, EY and KPMG. Vault Accounting 50 has ranked PwC as the most prestigious accounting firm in the world for seven consecutive years, as well as the top firm to work for in North America for three consecutive years.

Represenatives for PWC added, “We must always evolve the way we educate and engage students. We’re shifting how we think about teaching and learning — and this is just the beginning.”
