G.O.O.D. Music artist Desiigner stopped by Power 106 in L.A. to promote his new track, “Up.”
During the interview on the Cruz Show, Desiigner discussed his where his infectious joy comes from and how he stays grounded.
“Man every day I have to start my day thanking God. A lot of people think that you have to be in a church, not knowing that church is in [your body]. I remind myself of that every day, it helps me remember that I don’t have to be here.”
Desiigner also touched on why he’s unbothered by haters trying to steal his joy.
“I know everyone in this room has haters,” Desiigner said, “That’s why when I look at Twitter or my social media I just brush it off because when I post stuff it’s what I like, what made me laugh so if they don’t like it like that I said it-oh well. It made me laugh.I had a lot of things that was going on in my life that got m to this point. I keep a smile from what I have experienced and what I have lived.So now I am like why be upset about certain things when you can just live life.”
