The crowd just wasn’t feeling Desiigner last night during the 2016-2017 NBA season kick off last night as the Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Oklahoma City. The Brooklyn-born rapper took to the stage full of energy and even ripped off his shirt while performing his hit song “Panda” for the halftime performance but the Wells Fargo Center crowd just wasn’t feeling him.
Once they realized he was lip syncing the music to his Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single instead of actually rapping, they boo’d him clean off the court.
The performance was apparently so bad that a local Associated Press writer went in on Desiigner, tweeting, “Awful halftime performance by Desiigner. Booed off the court with his jeans down to his ankles & he ripped his shirt off.”
Appearing to not even be phased by the crowd’s response as he received his custom Sixers jersey and walked off.
Awful halftime performance by Desiigner. Booed off the court with his jeans down to his ankles & he ripped his shirt off.
