Celebrating DJ Khaled’s Flourishing Career and 10 Years of His “We The Best” Album

DJ Khaled

DJ Khaled has become one of the biggest names in the music industry. His larger-than-life persona and ability to arrange hit records are forces to be reckoned with. From mispronouncing words during a number of interviews to dropping the keys to success via Snapchat, we all have watched him grow his empire and witness his come-up.

Monday (Jun 12), marks the 10 year anniversary of the release of DJ Khaled’s sophomore album, We The Best. The album was released Terror Squad Entertainment and distributed by Koch Records on June 12, 2007. The album was definitely Khaled’s break-out album. We The Best consists of classic Khaled records such as “We Takin’ Over” featuring Fat Joe, T.I., Rick Ross, Birdman, Lil Wayne, and Akon and “I’m So Hood” featuring T-Pain, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, and Plies. This is the album that many believe solidified DJ Khaled’s career.

On June 23, 2017, DJ Khaled will be releasing his upcoming album, Grateful. The album features Beyonce, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Drake, and many more. The album has already earned Khaled lot of publicity and even more notoriety than before as he carries his toddler son, Asahd with him on promo runs. Asahd has even made his way to the cover of Grateful, right alongside his dad.

It is not clear if DJ Khaled considers himself a role model or not, but he is definitely someone to takes notes from. No matter what profession that you are in. In November 2016, he released his book titled The Keys, revealing his major keys to success.

DJ Khaled’s career is continuing to flourish and he is just getting warmed up.
