DJ Quik Tells Tiger Woods “Dry Up”

Social media had a lot to say about Tiger Woods’ DUI arrest early yesterday morning (May 29) and now, DJ Quik has given the pro golfer some words of advice, “dry up,” he told TMZ reporters as they caught up with him at LAX yesterday. “That’s not the look, bro.”

The rapper/producer couldn’t believe the news when reporters first told him about Tiger’s arrest. “The fuck outta here,” the 47-year-old Los Angeles native said. “He misses his wife. That will cause you to drink when you let your wife go for some hoes; you know what I mean?”

After proclaiming his love and respect of Woods, Quik called him the Michael Jordan of golf. “He can’t be in jail. Somebody might try to punch that dude, fuck up his golf swing; you know? That’s the Michael Jordan of fucking gold. What the fuck?”

Quick also posted the video of his TMZ interview on Twitter with the caption: “It’s a pitty man…Tiger, dude, come drink with us man…we got you. #Uber #yellowcab.”

While Quik alludes that Tiger may have had too much of the sauce while driving, CNN reports that he golfer said that alcohol not involved and he had “an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications.”

Instead, Woods said that is currently rehabbing from back surgery and did not realize the mix of medications “had affected me so strongly.” According to reports, he also said, “I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions.”
