Dr. Dre shaken down by LA County Sheriff’s deputies

Platinum producer Dr. Dre was in an all-too-familiar situation yesterday when he was placed in cuffs and felt up by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies outside his Malibu home yesterday. According to TMZ, the run-in with the law occurred after an after an alleged road rage dispute over another motorist blocking his driveway.

Sources say the motorist had pulled off the Pacific Coast Highway and stopped in front of Dre’s house. According to reports, Dre asked the man to move his vehicle. As he drove off, the man cursed at the music mogul but remained in the area as Dre pulled into his driveway. Dre recorded the scene with this phone.

Sheriff’s deputies arrived to the scene after the motorist called 911 to report someone had pulled a gun on him. They put handcuffs Dre, searched him but found no gun. Although Dre was not arrested, the unidentified motorist filled out a report detailing his allegations. The Sheriff’s Dept. will forward the report to the District Attorney, who will then decide if there is a case.
