Champagne Papi took a break from his Summer Sixteen tour this Labor Day Weekend and paid homage to his second home and the city that launched his career with his annual Houston Appreciation Weekend. During the festivities, Drake announced that he was about to make it rain on the city all over again with the opening of his new strip club in the city called The Ballet.
Set to open next year, Drizzy told the crowd, “It’s not about no strip club shit. It’s about these amazing women that we’ve got in one spot, this music we’ve got, this Houston culture that we got. And I just want to let you know, that, me, I’m going to bring it to you in the most honest and genuine way possible.”
On Saturday, Drake gave the H-Town crowd a taste of what’s to come with a pop-up dance experience that featured a few beauties showing off their pole and aerial skills. He also gave the ballers a few months to stack their grip up and announced on Instagram, “Tonight is a different take on how it should be done in Houston. Treat yourself, don’t cheat yourself. Where the women are on a pedestal and the surrounding are unforgettable. Grand opening early 2017.”
Check out the announcement now.
