Young Scooter has been making waves in ATL for a while now.
The Freebandz and Brick Squad 1017 affiliate has several songs in heavy rotation and plans on dropping his full-length album soon. The King Jugg broke down some of his now infamous slang terms, including the one made popular by his infectious song “Jugg King.”
“Jugg is just getting money,” Scooter said. “It doesn’t have to mean trapping or drugs, it just means hustling and getting your paper.”
Despite his heavy buzz on the streets, the childhood friend of Future found himself in a jam after violating his parole. The six-month bid put him in the same cell with ATL legend Gucci Mane, who gave Scooter the game that he’s been running with every since his release.
“People go to jail and lose their mind in two months, depending on how many times you’ve been in there; but I have been in and out of that muthaf*cka so many times that it seems normal. For me to be real I ain’t nothing like the other artists when I first came in I didn’t know nothing about the business, I was just in it for show money.”
