Fetty Wap Settles “Trap Queen” Lawsuit

Fetty Wap had one of the biggest hits in 2015 with “Trap Queen.” The single was so big that it went 4x platinum. Last fall, Fetty Wap was hit with a big lawsuit for the hit single. He was sued by a Danish songwriter, Lazar Lakic. Lakic said he owned the exclusive rights to the instrumental used for the song. The Jasmine Brand reports the New Jersey MC has just settled the “Trap Queen” lawsuit.

According to the site, the court was given documents that show that both parties representing Fetty and Lakic have settled their lawsuit on June 26. According to their confidential agreement, the case would be closed in 30 days. After both parties have fulfilled their promises, everything will be settled.

There have not been any details released about the terms of Fetty Wap’s settlement. Now that he have his legal issues behind him, we should be getting his sophomore album,’King Zoo’ real soon.
