Floyd Mayweather Says “Now It’s OK To Be A Junkie” in Music

Whether weed, lean, molly or percocets, today’s rap music does seem to give a green light in taking any and every of drugs rappers can get their hands on. During an interview on DJ Whoo Kid’s “The Whoolywood Shuffle” on Shade 45 for Whoo Kid’s Memorial Day Weekend Special, Floyd Mayweather shared his sentiment on what seems to be a drug culture in rap music.

“This is crazy that it’s OK to O.D. on drugs,” he said.

The boxing champ called to talk about his upcoming fight with Conor McGregor, but the conversation shifted to the current state of hip-hop.

“It’s OK to take any drugs now,” he added. “It’s OK to be a junkie. And the legendary rappers like to stick to what they talk [about]. When you go back and really listen to the legendary rappers, this is timeless music. Guys like Biggie, guys like Pac, timeless music.”
