Stream Freddie Gibbs New Album ‘You Only Live 2wice’ [Listen Now]

Freddie Gibbs returns harder than ever with his new EP You Only Live 2wice. The 8-song project is the first body of work since the Gary, Indiana MC was acquitted last September on charges of sexual assault in Austria.

Gangsta Gibbs last project was the collaboration album Bandana with producer Madlib which came out last year.

Freddie Gibbs previously released the tracks “Crushed Glass” and “Alexys” from the project. On “Crushed Glass,” he also address the rape allegations, spitting,

“I just beat a rape case, groupie bitch I never fucked/ Trying to give me ten for some pussy that I never touched/ At a certain level, system tried to test a nigga’s nuts/ Nigga hire like eleven lawyers, had to level up.”

Taking a break from his gun busting lyrics, Gibbs is more introspective on this project as he drops gems to get you through your problems and delivers a beating the odds approach. Since he’s been quiet for a minute, Freddie also tackles the project solo with no features as he spazzes out on production from the likes of Speakerbomb, Kaytranada, BadBadNotGood, Aaron Bow, and more.
