Getting Bold: ‘The Real Side Chicks of Charlotte’ is a Real Show and Coming Soon [Watch]

After the plethora of shows making a splash showcasing the wives and girlfriends of professional entertainers and athletes, a new wave of reality TV is surfacing, only this time it’s focus is on the infamous side chicks.

The new bold and brazen show is based in Charlotte, NC and the brainchild of  Mr. 704  and Real Housewives of Atlanta husband Peter Thomas The Real Side Chicks of Charlotte will be a tell all show about the low-down dirty truth on some of Charlotte’s most proud side chicks. The show promises to showcase all the drama and cat fights the Queen City has to offer with its own version of “Real Housewives” but with an unusual twist.

During an interview with Jessica Williams of Charlotte’s WPEG Power 98,  Mr. 704 revealed that he came up with the concept after seeing it play out on a music video. After presenting the idea to a director from L.A. who greenlit the idea,  Mr. 704 took the concept and ran with it.

Despite the controversy surrounding the show, these ladies are not ashamed of who or what they are. During the WPEG interview, the ladies made clear that it is more than one side to each story.

“I am not a side chick,” Storm said. “How can I be the side chick if I am getting the same treatment as the main? It is our man and if the “main chick” was doing her job then the side chick wouldn’t be in the picture to begin with.”

No matter which way the coin flips, a side chick is still a side piece. But we will have to tune into the show to get the real story of the Queen City’s mistresses.
