News of Chester Bennington‘s passing has swept the internet and hip hop artists and fans alike are taking to their social media to share their fond memories and thoughts on Chester Bennington. Though not a hip hop artist, Chester and his Linkin Park band mate Mike Shinoda frequently collaborated with hip hop’s elite throughout their career. The band released a collaborative EP project with Jay-Z called Collision Course in 2004 and essentially ushered a new wave of the rap/rock genre.
