Hip Hop lovers have seen some surprising news regarding albums dropping in the month of December and now it looks as if J. Cole is adding himself to the list.
According to reports, fans can expect new J. Cole album to released next week. The 10 track album titled, 4 Your Eyez Only , has popped up for pre-order on iTunes on Wednesday (Nov. 30) with a release date of Dec. 9.
Despite the cover art and release date being revealed, the rest of the information about the album seems pretty much under wraps as J. Cole nor his Dreamville imprint haven’t posted anything regarding the album or release. Although the number of tracks are listed on the pre-order screen, the tracklist hasn’t been revealed yet. 4 Your Eyez Only will be his first album since 2014 Forest Hills Drive.
The news of the upcoming album definitely serves as a surprise after the emcee announced that the 2016 Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York City, was his “last show for a very long time.” Rumors swirled that the announcement was to allow Cole time to finish up an album and it looks like the speculation may have been true, hopefully, we will see some tour dates on the horizon as well.
