Jada Pinkett-Smith Calls ‘All Eyez On Me’ “Deeply Hurtful”

Jada Pinkett-Smith had some harsh words about the film All Eyez On Me.

The personal friend and confidant of Tupac Shakur took to social media to reveal her thoughts on the film nd set the record straight on some things she felt was portrayed inaccurately. “Forgive me… my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth.”

Jada said revealed that her relationship with Tupac was reimagined in the film, which was “deeply hurtful” to her and Pac’s legacy. Smith shared before going on to assure actors Demetrius Shipp Jr. and Kat Graham — who portray Shakur and Pinkett  — that none of the blame was with them.

“You both did a beautiful job with what you were given. Thank you both.”

Jada has spoken previously about her relationship with Shakur. In 2015 during an interview with shock jock Howard Stern, Pinkett-Smith said that though the connection the pair had was strong, it was never romantic.

“You know, it’s so funny because now being older, I have more of an understanding of what that was between us,” she said. “When you have two young people that have very strong feelings, but there was no physical chemistry between us at all, and it wasn’t even just for me — it was him too.”

Pinket-Smith wasn’t the only artist who had some critical reviews for the film, rapper 50 Cent also spoke out against the film calling it “trash.”

“Man I watched the 2 PAC film, that was some bullshit. Catch that shit on a fire stick trust me. LOL SMH TRASH,” Fifty posted via Instagram. “I just want you to keep me in mind when you watch that shit. Straight out of Compton was good. That was a bad movie man, 2PAC is suppose to be a classic they fucked it up. John Singleton said it was wack, I had to see it for my self. Go check it out you gonna be mad as a mother fucker. I want my money back now!!! Some of yal think I’m hating. SMH nah go see it. When you walk out of ther motherfucker like this you gonna learn to listen to me.”
