American Eagle enlisted a gaggle of millennial influencers in music, fashion, sports and social media for its fall 2017 campaign. Soundtracked to A Tribe Called Quest’s “Can I Kick It,” stars like rapper Joey Bada$$, hijabi model Halima Aden, and NBA player Brandon Ingram share words of inspiration while rocking American Eagle Outfitters jeans.

The retailer is about to drop is the largest collection of denim yet on July 8. It holds 15 different fits for women in styles like Jeggings, Mom Jeans, and Tom Girls. Men have 11 fits that include slimmer and flex jean options—not to mention the brand’s introduction of extended black denim.

American Eagle wanted the campaign, “This New American Denim,” to capture inclusivity—one that embraces every quality and quirk Gen Y possesses celebrates freedom and emphasizes the move as one sees fit. “With fit, quality, and value top of mind, we hope our jeans can inspire this generation to make their mark through creativity and self-expression,” said AEO exec Chad Kessler.  And cue a list a diverse cast of models to match the variety in both its jeans and vision. Besides Bada $$, Aden and Ingram, American Eagle campaign cast bull rider Bonner Bolton, model Iskra Lawrence, and YouTuber Amanda Steele. The campaign stitches their unique personalities as each continues the phrase “#ICAN.” Hear what your favorite stars have to say about what they can do in “This New American Denim.”
