Joey Bada$$ and long time collaborator Statik Selektah came through to bless us with three new tracks, “Love Is Only A Feeling,” “Too Lit,” and “500 Benz”.
The first track, “Love Is Only A Feeling,” features Joey flowing melodically over jazzy production. “Too Lit” switches the pace a bit with its upbeat, drum heavy production and showcases a fast flow from the Brooklyn emcee. The final cut, “500 Benz,” gives fans more of that boom bap sound that Joey is known for.
All the tracks are produced by Joey’s tour DJ and frequent collaborator Statik Selektah. Statik has previously given Joey gems such as “Super Predator,” a stand out track from Joey’s ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ album.
Since the release of his sophomore project in April, Joey has been consistent with delivering music. He teased that there is a new Pro Era album in the works plus he’s been seen hitting the studio with the likes of Swizz Beatz and Diddy. Let’s hope that there is more music where this came from to be released in the near future.
