Kendrick Lamar keeps surprising his fans during stops on his DAMN tour and last night in Detroit, Michigan, he brought out his partner in rhyme J. Cole to bless the mic and the audience. If K.Dot wasn’t enough, J. Cole gave the fans impromptu performances of “Deja Vu,” “A Tale of 2 Citiez” and “No Role Modelz.”

Speaking about his “Black Friday” collaborator, J. Cole told the crowd,

“Detroit, Michigan, can y’all please take a minute… Look around this fucking arena where the fucking Pistons play at, and look what Kendrick Lamar has done with this fucking DAMN. album ladies and gentleman.”

Kendrick has had a stellar year so far as DAMN. has already been certified platinum and the Compton MC leads the pack of the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards with eight nominations.

Kendrick touches down in Chicago tonight with his D.R.A.M. and Travis Scott who are also opening the tour so there’s no telling who may grace the stage next with Kung Fu Kenny. Check out the remaining dates below.
