Kendrick Lamar Makes History Again with ‘DAMN’ [Watch]

Kendrick Lamar’s chart-topping DAMN is making history once again, this time with all 14 tracks individually.

According to the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart, dated May 6, the set’s “Humble.” which jumped up from number 3 to number 1 on the Hot 100 in its third frame, earning Lamar his second No. 1, and first as a lead act, while simultaneously making history as the other 13 tracks from the new album also all enter the list.

In all, the 14 songs from DAMN. are now all on the latest Hot 100 with more than 388.5 million streams in the U.S. for the week ending April 20. According to Nielsen, “Humble” collected the most plays racking up 67.4 million, making up 56 percent of the historic album’s numbers.

In other Kung Fu Kenny news, Kendrick Lamar has announced a North American tour beginning this July. As previously reported, K.Dot will be joined by support acts Travis Scott—his “Goosebumps” collaborator—and D.R.A.M. The announcement follows his performances at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where he debuted several songs from his new album DAMN.
