Kendrick Lamar Says He Is Dropping More Music

During a visit to a Compton, Calif. Best Buy store to sign copies of his recently released album Damn., Kendrick Lamar announced via a member of the TDE crew’s Instagram Live stream that he would be dropping even more music.

At around the 21-minute mark, the Bompton native looks into the phone, thanks his fans, and announces: “I got some more music.”

Naturally, fans weighed in via social media about Kendrick’s upcoming music.

K Dot has been making much noise with his latest album Damn. The album is well on its way to surpassing Drake’s record-breaking album More Life in the number album, according to HITS Daily Double.

Only a few weeks ago, Drake’s More Life was the first album to pull in 385 million streams during the first week, and the Compton rapper is close up on his heels with Spotify and Apple Music reportedly contributing to 120 million streams.

In other Kendrick news, the TDE/Interscope artist once again made his return to the topic of every conversation after his gripping set at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Sunday (April 16).

Thousands of people bore witness to performances and moments they will never forget as Kendrick Lamar made sure concertgoers experienced the most epic Easter of all times as he closed out the show with a very memorable headlining set.
