Exclusive: Kent Jones Talks New Project, Being on Tour and More [Watch] #GRIPintheStreets

Kent Jones is known for being an incredible musician and while on the road, GRIP got a chance to catch up with the Jazz wizard to discuss his upcoming project and more.

Fresh off of the release of his Valentine’s Day project  The Luh Tape in February and his latest single release, “Counting Stars” in May, Jones has been releasing music while hitting the road.

During the interview, Jones gave us a few details on the upcoming project and what fans can expect when it drops.

“I have a new album coming out called Get Out Yo Mama House and it’s going to be different. I have a few collabs with big artists that I can’t reveal yet, but I definitely got some collabs with some family and I have my other single with Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Dicky, and E-40 called, ‘Sit Down’.”

Jones also revealed that he has a cartoon on the works set to premiere in Tokyo dropping soon as well.

“I have a cartoon in the works that I just wrapped up last week, so I am excited about that and it’s going to be dropping soon.”
