Kodak Black Found Guilty of Five Counts of House Arrest Violation

According the play-by-play tweets of a Sun Sentinel reporter in the courtroom, Kodak Black has been found guilty of five counts of violating his house arrest in a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. courtroom today (April 26).

Now after being handed a guilty verdict, Black’s fate is now in the hands of the judge, who can either set him free or hand him up to eight years in prison. Sun Sentinel reporter Brett Clarkson also tweeted that the court went into recess after the verdict was given “while lawyers decide if proceedings should continue today with a ‘danger hearing'”

This round of the Pompano Beach, Fla. rapper’s troubles started after he was given a year of house arrest and five years of probation as part of a 2016 plea deal. He was ordered to remain at his house in Pembroke Pines. The only time that he was allowed to leave was for work. Then, he needed prior permission from his probation officer.

He was accused of going to many places, including a Miami strip club and a boxing match in Ohio, without the permission.
