Kodak Black Released From Jail…Again

Kodak Black continues to circle the revolving door called jail and was released from the Broward County Jail jail this morning (June 5.)

As previously reported, Kodak Black was sentenced to 364 days in county jail for violating his house arrest last month but if he completed some life skills courses in jail, he could be out in a month. Looks like someone scored all A’s as the Project Baby tastes freedom once again.

At a hearing in a Fort Lauderdale courtroom last month (May 4), Kodak made his plea to the judge. He apologized to his family, friends, and fans for making repeated mistakes, and Michael Kushner from Atlantic Records said the label is willing to hire a full-time mentor and advisor to help counsel Kodak.

Kodak Black was found guilty of five counts of violating his house arrest in a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. courtroom on April 26. That round of the Pompano Beach, Fla. rapper’s troubles started after he was given a year of house arrest and five years of probation as part of a 2016 plea deal.

He was ordered to remain at his house in Pembroke Pines. The only time that he was allowed to leave was for work. Then, he needed prior permission from his probation officer. He was accused of going to many places, including a Miami strip club and a boxing match in Ohio, without the permission.

Hopefully the young rapper’s troubles are behind him and now he can start promoting his Atlantic Records debut Painting Pictures which dropped in March. Check out Kodak on his ride home below.
