Krayzie Bone and Bizzy Bone Form Duo Bone Thugs, Drop New Video “Coming Home” with Stephen Marley [Watch Now]

Having been around the world and back more times than anyone can count, brothers in Bone, Bizzy and Krayzie, have teamed up as Bone Thugs for the premiere of their video, “Coming Home,” off their forthcoming album New Waves, due this summer on eOne.

The clip features Bone Thugs with their signature quick-fire delivery perfectly complemented by Reggae royalty Stephen Marley’s melodic and catchy hook. The video’s tour of their native Cleveland accompanied by the sonic backdrop provided by Bone and Marley makes for a journey whose gravity and color belies the visual’s smoky gray scale palette.

As previously reported, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s  Krayzie Bone and Bizzy Bone  teamed up as a duo as Bone Thugs. The anthemic first single was produced by acclaimed Dutch studio visionaries Clifford Goilo and Avedon, and legendary American hit-man Damizza. The emotive, melancholy track finds Bone Thugs longing for their back-to-basics, midwestern roots amid the hectic whirlwind of fast living and celebrity.

Speaking on the making of New Waves, Bizzy stated, “We love the process of making music so this wasn’t a hard album for us to make. We have so much history with not only eOne Music, but with eOne Music President Alan Grunblatt. He’s the same dude we’ve had all our success with since E. 1999 Eternal. Everything we’ve ever done has been successful with Alan. So we’re comfortable with knowing that our project is in good hands.”

While Flesh, Wish and Layzie seem to be missing from the project, Krayzie also explained, “This album is a breath of fresh air coming from Bone. We wanted to give this project a different look. That’s where the album title comes from: New Waves. We will always be a group…we will always be Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, but this is different than from the norm. This is Bone Thugs.
