Lil Boosie aids Louisiana flood victims

Amid what has been called by the Red Cross as the worst natural disaster to strike the United States since Hurricane Sandy four years ago, Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie is among other entertainers sending relief efforts to aid those in need during the catastrophic flood.

Two days ago, Boosie posted a picture to social media of himself sitting on the back of a U-Haul truck. The caption reads: “Fresh off the road, Me and TQ ended up having to load the last lil truck of donations to my city !! Hot af. It don’t stop tho. I’m just happy I’m able to help.”

More than 60,000 homes have been reported damaged by Louisiana parishes impacted by the flooding with bout 6.9 trillion gallons of rain pummeling Louisiana between August 8 and 14, enough to fill more than 10.4 million Olympic-size swimming pools.
