J. Cole has raised quite a few eyebrows with the release of his new track “Everybody Dies” last week. One eyebrow raiser in particular is Lil Uzi Vert.
On “Everybody Dies,” Cole raps: ““Bunch of words and ain’t sayin’ shit, I hate these rappers/Especially the amateur eight week rappers/Lil’ whatever, just another short bus rapper/Fake drug dealers turn tour bus trappers/Napoleon complex, you this tall rappers/Get exposed standin’ next to 6’4″ rappers.”
Many assume the track is aimed at the Philadelphia-born rapper or Lil Yachty or even the both of them. Lil Boat said in an interview on Power 106 Friday that he doesn’t “give a fuck” about Cole’s sneak diss and that “I fuck with J. Cole.”
Uzi took to Twitter this past weekend to express his feelings on the situation. The Philadelphia-born rapper tweeted: “Heard some beautiful shit today @JColeNC.” Following the caption, he added a fire emoji, a 100 emoji and the purple devil smiling.
Heard some beautiful shit today @JColeNC 🔥💯. 😈®

After Vert posted his response, many fans had an opinion or two about his lighthearted take on the situation.
