Lil Wayne Ordered to Pay David Banner 160K

Rapper Lil Wayne’s record label Young Money Records was ordered to pay rapper/producer David Banner $160,000 in a default judgment for work Banner did on two separate projects, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

David Banner claims he signed a contract in 2008 with Lil  Wayne’s Young Money Records to produce two songs for Wayne — “La La” and “Pussy Monster” — featured on Tha Carter III, for which he claims he is owed $138,787.19 in royalties but he never saw a dime.

Banner also claims the same thing happened in 2009 with “Streets Is Watchin” from We Are Young Money, for which he claims he was told he’s owed more than $15,392.57. Young Money failed to respond in the case, so the judge entered the default of $164,303.19, including interest.
