Lil Boat and Young Thug release the visual for their collaboration on the upcoming Quality Control compilation project.
The clip, directed by Liam Macre, exhibits the uniqueness of both rappers as they rap their verses at a house party. The compilation project released by Atlanta indie imprint, Quality Control Music, was announced by the Migos back in April and was expected to be released this summer. Young Thug and Lil Yachty are just a few of the Atlanta artists to be featured on the compilation.
Since the release of his debut album Teenage Emotions in May, Lil Yachty has made quite a name for himself. He recently made the Forbes’ 2017 list of highest paid hip-hop artists and has been back in the studio with Lil Pump, Chief Keef, Macklemore and others. Critics have given Lil Boat a world of criticism for his “mumble rap” style and comments previously made about hip-hop. He famously battled rapper Joe Budden and DJ Akademics on their Everyday Struggle show in a heated hip-hop debate and not to mention, that infamous “cello” incident.
