LL Cool J Searching for “In the House” Co-Star After Viral Video

The 90’s is commonly referred to as one of the most iconic decades of Black entertainment. From the legendary girl and boy bands to the iconic Black sitcoms like “In The House,” Black people seemed to be on top of the world with representation on the small screen.

But after a series of cancellations, some stars were unable to bounce back. According to published reports, Maia Campbell has really hit rock bottom with her struggle with substance abuse, but on Sunday (July 9), LL Cool J set out to help his former co-star by putting out an ABP to his loyal fan base to search for Campbell after a video surfaced of her strung out on drugs and missing teeth.

Almost 20 years after the cancellation of the popular 90’s sitcom “In the House”, one of the show’s beloved stars was spotted at an Atlanta gas station struggling with substance abuse. Campbell rose to fame in the mid to late 90’s on the popular black sitcom “In the House” and on “Seventeen Again”. But since her career has taken a turn for the worst, she has struggled with Bipolar Disorder and appeared on Iyanla Vanzant’s “Fix My Life” to discuss her failed relationship with her deceased mother in 2012.

The shocking video startled fans to see the once beautiful star struggling to hold an intelligent conversation and begging for drugs, But once the NCIS: Los Angles star got wind of the video, he was not only displeased that someone would film her in that state but that they didn’t even seem to care or try to help her.

LL Cool J immediately took to his Twitter to help his fellow TV star, asking for anyone with information on Campbell to reach out to him.

It is sickening to see anyone putting down and contributing to her circumstances, but this goes to show that there are still some good Black men left to uplift and protect Black women.

LL Cool J has a long-standing career and is proof that when you bless others blessings will come unto you.

Shout out to Uncle L.
