Logic Announces Launching Own Record Label, Elysium[Video]

Rapper Logic recently announced via his Instagram that he’s started his own record label, Elysium. After proclaiming that his next album will be his last, the 27-year-old emcee looks to be setting himself up for a new journey in the music industry.

Im excited to Announce I have founded my very own record label created for the Love and creative freedom of its artists!” Logic said. “This label is everything I have ever stood for. So all the true fans of mine, I mean every single open minded music loving person that is reading this.

Logic went on to explain his plans for the label as well as introduce the label’s roster in a video posted to his youtube channel. The Elysium roster includes his wife Jessica Andrea, Big Lenbo, Damian Lemar Hudson and John Lihndal. Logic says of his new imprint:

Elysium was created mainly because I don’t trust anybody else with the precious cargo that is my family, I wanted to create a place where they can feel free and literally do whatever they want because this is so much more than just music. It really is a family. So many people that support me are gonna support these artists. What we’re all here to represent is following your dreams because each and every artist that was here didn’t have anything hand to them.”
